Why is fundraising a “crucial function”? The answer is simple… yet complex.

For our school to stay competitive, we need to meet several objectives. Mt. View Co-Op needs to have top-notch, experienced teachers (which we are lucky to have), a great location for our school (which we also have), and the ability to offer affordable tuition. Our tuition is competitively priced thanks in large part to successful fundraising. Unfortunately, as is the case with many schools, the tuition payments collected do not completely cover our school’s monthly expenditures and other financial obligations.

Instead of simply asking families to pay this difference, we offer fundraising opportunities throughout the school year. Behind the scenes, we focus on fundraising a great deal and look for ways to make it easy and fun. We do this because your financial involvement in these fundraisers is essential and vital to our school’s success.

The best part of fundraising is that for every dollar we raise above our goal helps our school make general improvements and purchase new equipment, all of which will contribute to a wonderful preschool experience for you and your child. Fundraising goes directly into our school’s general fund and pays for snacks, supplies for the classroom, sand and gravel for the playground plus so much more.
